Wow, I've been away for a couple of months and so many new puppies in the forum!dannie_kl wrote:sounds great! if the miracle grow works in time i'll bring my new Giant Kolo with me!
How old is Kolo? The training day is ideal for pups as Adrian is great on puppy development.
Henry's Mum, you should definitely try to come, the training ground are only a stone throw from you! This is where Obi and I train every Sunday.

orry Mari i was just joking, the training weekend sounds great but i only have mini's but i thought if i put some miracle grow on my mini called Kolo he might have grown enough to be classed as a giant ;)

Re: Giant Schnauzer Training Day
I am sure mini and standard Schnauzers are not completely off limit if the training day is of interest to anyone. Since Saturday is mainly an obedience training day it would be of benefit to anyone interested in any type of dog sports i.e obedience, working trials etc.
I have never met Adrian myself but I have heard lots of positive words about him not only from people that train at his club but also people that participate in working trials up north.

Re: Giant Schnauzer Training Day
Yes, it is open for all who are interested in building a better bond with your dog and improving your obedience training skills.
Obviously, Sunday will be more working dog oriented as it is the official Schutzhund training session, but we believe that Saturday would be suitable for anyone interested in dog training.
We wanted to aim the day predominantly for Giants as we wanted Giant owners to realise the full potential of their dogs, and encourage them to get involved in dog training and sports. The Giants are happy workers, and deserve to put all their entusiasim into something constructive. We also realise that the day needs to be open to all breeds to enable us to cover the cost of organising something like this.
I train with Adrian, and am constantly impressed with his ability to address the individual needs of different dogs and handlers. Anyway, it is not expensive so come and see yourselves!

Re: Giant Schnauzer Training Day
Would love to come Mari as you said it's close to us but the O.H. has brought me back to reality. With all that's been going on with our two and our kids, the dogs aren't as fit as we'd like so it wouldn't be a good idea this time.
