Any Dorset Walks week of 26/3/17?

Post by Lou78 »

Hello!

Calling all Dorset dwellers..... ;)

We are down for a holiday next week (arriving on the 25th March) and I was wondering if anyone knows of any planned walks while we are there? Alternatively, just ideas for places for good dog walks/dog friendly beaches etc also welcome!

Thanks in advance! :-bd

Hello Blackgiant :-h

We are staying in Middlemarsh, just near Sherborne. That is our base for the week but like to have days out all over the county. Beautiful part of the world! :-bd

I'm in Christchurch so can help with walks round here but it's a fair way from where you're staying.

At the moment most of the Bournemouth beaches are dog friendly

Hengistbury Head is a lovely walk with a great café and a land train

There are great country parks:
Avon Heath
Moors Valley

Don't know of any organised walks at the moment but I walk regularly at Avon Heath Country Park and am happy to meet up
