A Creggan quirk!
Creggan has a lovely bed in his crate. It is a Three Peaks one and has a tough, nylon cover, with a lovely fleecy topper that press studs on to it.
So why does he insist on turning it over every day so that he is sleeping on the bobbly non slip bottom
If he see's me turn it back he goes straight in to his crate and turns it again If I put an extra fleece in there for him to schnuggle up with he bury's it underneath the bed!
Strange boy!!!!

Re: A Creggan quirk!
Perhaps he's too hot with the fleece side, Jilly does this sometimes. One thing they both do is chuck their teddy off the top of the crate at work, as soon as I put it back they will get it and chuck it off again

Hamish has a pet fleece in his crate and in the evenings he will drag it through to the sitting room to near where I'm sitting so he can sleep on it even though he has a bed to curl up on next to me and the room has wal to wall carpet

Monty drags his blanket through to the lounge too if Ihaven't already taken it in! He likes lots of options!

Re: A Creggan quirk!
I know this thread should be about Creggan's quirk but I'm sure all of our schnauzers have little quirks of their own. Hopefully he doesn't mind if we share.
When Reilly wants a bit of close time he will come up (on to our lap) and put his face right in front of ours. Nose to nose without touching or licking (although his fur tickles). Oddly enough we can blow in his face and it doesn't faze him. He doesn't even move. The other dogs will jump up and move away so I guess it qualifies as a quirk.

Funny Creggan!
Poppy likes to drag her fleece elsewhere if I've just put it down.
When the floors were bare (I took up the rugs for Poppy's first few months here) she would get a ride on her fleece blanket every day. I'd move it from its default spot outside her crate to my room, by my desk, when it was time for me to work. I'd pick up the corner of the blanket and she'd race over and hop on board, then I'd drag the blanket, with her on it, through the flat to my room. Saying "wheeeee" - of course.
She usually got a return ride in the afternoon, and sometimes an extra one just for fun.
She would often then drag the blanket halfway back and I'd go and fetch it, etc etc.
