8/9 Year old Giant bitch looking for a new home

The Giant Schnauzer is an example of working breed of dog and has a dense, coarse coat that protects them against the elements and vermin. The Giant Schnauzer is the largest of the three breeds.

8/9 Year old Giant bitch looking for a new home

This old girl, who is docked and cropped is urgently looking for a new home as her owners are returning to Hungary. She has come into Schnauzer rescue as a Standard, but is somewhat bigger! She's currently in Essex.

If anyone is interested, could you get in touch with Dawn Turner at the Giant Schnauzer Culb rehome or Hilary Lockyer at Schnauzer Club rehome .

Very sad for this old girl. Unfortunately she's been to the vets today and it wasn't good news, so it was felt kindest thing was to let her go :(

That is awful news, at least the kindest thing has been done for her. I wonder if her last owners were aware of her health?

How dreadful, this should never have happened to the poor girl. Why did she have to go through the stress of being parted from her owners of 9 years, put into a shelter, only to end up being euthanised at the vets?? I know I don't have the full picture, but for this to be this poor dog's last moments does not sound right on any level X(
