Tips for naughty schnoodle
Sadie's 3 years old and will still regularly poo on the carpet.
I tell her shes bad and put her in the garden for a bit which she doesnt like on her own, however it doesnt seem to make a difference.
Particularly if its not great weather she'll be let out in the morning with our other Shnauzer who will go, come back in fairly quickly, then when I go back downstairs theres a mess on the carpet.
Every 2-3 days she does this and she's far too old for it, getting told off and having an older dog for an example doesnt seem to be helping.
Does anyone have some advice on this?

Did you get Sadie as a puppy? The best way to encourage toileting outside is to establish it well when the dog is very young and although it can take time and patience initially it should prevent unwanted habits into adulthood.
However, as Sadie is now 3 years old and as she does poo outside some of the time, I would suggest rewarding her for the times she does go in the garden and stop telling her off for for going inside. Dogs do respond better to reward based training in all situations - police, military and search and rescue dogs are trained using positive reward based methods and the best results will be gained with pet dogs too.
Until Sadie is more reliable about toileting outside, I would make sure that you go out with her (rather than letting her go out on her own or with your other dog) and reward her with a treat and praise when she does a poo. Don’t shout at her for poo-ing inside but just ignore her as you clear it up.I would also suggest maybe changing the carpet if she poos in the same place each time as the scent will encourage her to repeat that and many ammonia based cleaning products are unhelpful as they mimic the scent of urine. If changing the carpet is impractical look for a specific pet faeces cleaning product that has a scent to deter dogs from going there.

Re: Tips for naughty schnoodle
Telling off after the event has no meaning to a dog. Taking them to the poo and telling them off doesnt mean anything to them.
She needs more supervision so she gets rewarded when doing a poo outside. Inside treat her like a puppy either she is in a crate or with you and not left on her own in a room to make a mistake, so if she goes to do a poo you can redirect her outside straight away so you can reward her for going outside.
It may also help taking her outside to one specific area where either her or your other dog toilets, then she associates that area with going to the toilet. A bit like the opposite of shes associating the carpet as toilet area at the moment.
