I've done it before for something else but like you can't remember what I had to do. Will try to look it up and give it a go when I get a chance.
Meanwhile, it actually no big deal as there are plenty of nice pictures to look at throughout the rest of the forum

How about using CTRL+F5 when you are in your browser on the forum. That should refresh all your files for the forum.Bon-bon wrote:I've done it before for something else but like you can't remember what I had to do. Will try to look it up and give it a go when I get a chance.
It's my pleasure. ;)Smarties wrote:Just want to say thanks for keeping this great little Schnauzer community going Dean!

I offer my advice freely, but I am not an expert, breeder, groomer or behaviourist. It is simply my experience of raising pups in a way that seems to make sense.

Re: Upgrade - 8 January 2014
Is there some reason that I am suddenly having to link out to photbucket every time I tap on an in post thumbnail? Before it just showed me the picture full screen but now (due to fat fingers I know)I can only see smaller pictures on photo buckets page (mainly cos every time I try and tap the tiny magnifying glass it takes me to the next photo). It only used to link me out if someone posted a link, now it does it from the thumbnails too.
PS, this it in tapatalk.

Re: Upgrade - 8 January 2014
If you edit the post, you will notice that the IMG tag is set within a URL tag. Therefore when you click on the image it takes you to the website. It is a setting change in the Photobucket user account. If the user has enabled 'The Link back option' in Photobucket, then you will link to Photobucket when clicking on a picture. Alternatively, they have copied the IMG THUMB code rather than IMG code. I have no control over this and it is nothing to do with the upgrade.Caramomo wrote:Stacy's post with photos of Ozzy and Charlie.

As examples.
This the IMG THUMB code:
Code: Select all
[URL=http://s1210.photobucket.com/user/RupertKW/media/20130723_102301_zpsb98148ad.jpg.html][IMG]http://i1210.photobucket.com/albums/cc413/RupertKW/th_20130723_102301_zpsb98148ad.jpg[/IMG][/URL]
Or the better option is this IMG code:
Code: Select all
[IMG]http://i1210.photobucket.com/albums/cc413/RupertKW/20130723_102301_zpsb98148ad.jpg[/IMG]
But the best option is to use the Photobucket button to the right, just below the smilies. It gives you the right code all the time.

Ah, I get you. Must be coincidence then as I've never come across it before, the links were always obvious links.

Re: Upgrade - 8 January 2014
That is because I had to reset the user flags to a week ago as part of the maintenance I had to do. It would have reset the last read posts to a week ago too. The flags are not kept in cookies but on the server, so that it works across multiple platforms.ZiiPAngelclaws wrote:today's maintenance all posts i have commented on now show up as unread

Re: Upgrade - 8 January 2014
Just a question about the gallery algorithm. The, I assume, random pics that show up near the top of the page appear to be about 50% mine. Is this just that I've thrown up more pictures than anyone else? Just seemed a bit un-random to me.

Re: Upgrade - 8 January 2014
There are currently 186 photo's uploaded to the gallery, of which 67 are yours. So, the likelihood of one of yours showing is about 36% (1 in 3) per box. I have 42 photo's uploaded and my likelihood is 23% (or 1 in 4). Once the gallery has a lot more pictures in it, the randomness will improve as the software has more choice.
