Words can never really comfort the pain when a loved one passes across the Rainbow bridge but just to say you and your family are in our thoughts - sending hugs xx

I am so sorry that your lovely girl has gone to Rainbow Bridge. I really feel your pain.
I never can read the story of Rainbow Bridge without shedding tears.
You will cry now whenever you think of Lexi, but there will come a time when memories of her will make you smile.
Big hugs and love from Finn, Bo and me :ymhug: :ymhug: :ymhug:

Thanks so much for your kind words the house is so empty without her she was a larger than life character it's the still going to do things for her as she was such a sticker to routine and it's those times that hurt the most ...
We went to the vets today to return unused medication and when we got home there was a card had come through the post from our vet he said the most lovely things about Lexi as she loved him to pieces we always said that going to the vets for her was like going to Butlins she used to get so excited and was kisses and cuddles for all of them and woe betide anyone who ignored her they had to face up to serious woo woo woos , well we popped back to the vets to thank him and he was almost in tears he really did think a great deal of her....
Lexi has through her life made me many good friends who I wouldn't have met without her and I am so grateful to have been privileged enough to have had her in my life,,, Thank you Lexi sleep tight my darling girl ....Take care everyone will pop back from time to time

I'm sorry I didn't reply earlier. I saw your post and thought "what can I say that will make a difference"? Obviously nothing.
It is just the worst time and many of us have been there. Eventually the pain is replaced (somewhat) by pleasant memories but I don't think you ever forget.

Oh Sue, what can I say? You & Lexi are often in my thoughts & I'm so sorry to hear this news. Also sorry it's taken me so long to catch up, I haven't made it onto the forum much lately. You did your absolute best for little Lexi and ensured she had the best possible chance for quality of life. When the awful time comes, you have to do what's right for your dog. You do it & know they are free from pain, but that doesn't stop yours. Big hugs xx

Oh Sue, I have only just read that you had lost Lexie when logging into the forum for updates on Alfie. I am so sorry that Lexie has gone over the bridge, they leave such a gaping hole don't they. Take good care of yourself and enjoy your pup once you get it, it will not replace Lexie in any shape or form but it will help you I promise.

There have been too many lately. I lost my Dieta 3 weeks ago.

Nothing makes it better, nothing helps, only time heals the hurt.

Goodnight and run free sweet Lexi.
