Re: Who dun it?

Alison, Edie was exactly the same with compost and has only just begun to stop trying to eat it. I have to say though that being very dark means the evidence isn't as obvious as it is with Jasper. When walking my pair in town I need to be vigilant with chewing gum - Edie seems to be able to spot eve...

Re: Jasper's puppy days

His social skills are great Alison. You can forgive him a few high jinks at home if he's such a pleasure when out. We've met Bingo a few times and he's taken a real shine to Edie :)

Re: Starting the stripping journey...

Hi Polly, As Alison says, you are doing things correctly. I strip both my mini girls, self taught with help from people here and on YouTube and like you, won't be showing either of mine so any mistakes aren't overly drastic. I also have a Mars coat king and limit its use to my girls lower legs, bell...

Scratching dogs

Rosie and Edie are both itching and are scratching and nibbling at their paws and bits :) No sign at all of fleas, no heat spots, no redness, no abrasions, no grass seeds, ticks or mites. That, I think leaves food as a suspect. I haven't changed their food at all - still on raw but they do get some ...

We don't have instagram but Rosie and Edie do have a facebook page that I need to update more often than I do. It's here https://www.facebook.com/Rosie-and-Edie ... ktbRuK3XoE

Re: Behaviour issue...

Hi Mike, I think most of us will have been in a similar position with all our dogs at times and will hopefully sympathise and give constructive advice rather than be judgemental. Certainly all replies to date have been supportive =)) Last night I was walking my pair when Edie (who has great recall) ...

Re: Unsocialized mini schnauzer

Hi Jenny, Is Captain insured? The reason I ask is that my dogs are insured with Petplan and I had a behavioural issue with Rosie. She was referred to an APBC therapist who gave us a 4 hour consultation and then sent a report to us and the vet on a programme to overcome the issue. Petplan picked up t...

Re: Jasper's puppy days

Gosh - he certainly has grown in the couple of weeks since I met him. Just as you say, longer snout and legs. He looks adorable Alison. You'll soon be past the nippy stage :)

Re: Monty Is Growing Up!

I missed the update on Monty somehow. Lovely pics of a handsome boy and great to read that things have settled down with his digestive system.

Re: Tired pooches...

Oscar out for the count mostly whereas Sasha sleeps like a gunslinger, with one eye open, ready for play or the opportunity to bark at someone :D It's the same in our house Mike. Both dogs asleep (with Rosie snoring) and I head off to the loo to find two dogs sitting outside when I open the bathroo...

Happy birthday Otto (sorry we're late). Devon's a great place for dog friendly days out. Glad he enjoyed it.

Nice pics Mike. Oscar looks as if he's sparked out whereas Sasha looks like she's keeping her options open if more activity is on offer :)

Re: Edie's grooming journey begins

This is a picture of Edie taken earlier today when we were out for Rosie's birthday walk :) Her P&S banding is coming on really well though her beard is still moth eaten and not as long as I'd expected for her age. She still has a sizeable black patch on her back towards her tail that has an occasio...
