Re: Barnaby Sparkle

Lisa, so sorry to read about your loss. Barnaby was one handsome boy and left you too soon. You'll take comfort from having had eight happy years with him and knowing he's pain free now.

No one can truly understand why dogs are called “man’s best friend” until they have experienced the loss of one.

Great pic of Otto, Julie.

Re: Edie's grooming journey begins

Edie is 6 months old now. She still can't make up her mind whether she's going to allow her whole jacket to turn pepper and salt and is stubbornly hanging on to quite a bit of solid black on her back. She's very good about having her upper legs stripped and isn't concerned about her head or ears eit...

Re: Pixie ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I always love to see schnauzer pups and Pixie's no exception. She's beautiful and bound to be the centre of attention at Christmas :)

I hope you have many happy years together. There's always room in your heart for another schnauzer.

Re: New Member and Standard owner

Welcome to the forum Brian.

She looks adorable and I look forward to seeing plenty of pics and read of her progress as I know very little about standard schnauzers. Given her kennel name; do you call her Molly?

Re: A thread for Rosie and Edie

Edie will be 6 months old on Friday and I took her to the vet on Saturday for her 6 month check-up. Everything is well with her, all the deciduous teeth have gone and she has beautiful pearlies. The umbilical hernia that we knew about hasn't got any worse and the plan is to have it repaired when we ...

Re: Heartbreak and advice...

Hi Edmund, I'm sorry to read about Pablo, he looked an adorable pup. I have two mini's aged 17 months and 6 months and I'd be devestated if anything happened to either of them. I lived in Belfast for 47 years before moving to Guernsey and got my first mini schnauzer when I was in Belfast. I looked a...

Re: Farewell our little princess Pepper

James and Katherine, Thank you for sharing your photo's of Pepper. The only negative about owning a dog is having to say goodbye, and that goodbye often feels far too soon. I'm sure you know you did the right thing for her and couldn't have done anymore but it still won't take away the loss you have...

James and Katherine,

I'm really sorrow to read about Pepper. Losing a loved pet so young is a terrible thing to deal with. RIP Pepper.

Re: Meet Gus

Hi Alex,

Gus looks adorable. Schnauzer puppies enjoy testing their new owners with nipping; we've all been through it but it does eventually stop :)

Looking forward to seeing Gus grow.

Re: Hi! Just Rehomed a Schnauzer

Hi Andrew, lovely to read about Maisie's progress. My latest addition Edie (24 weeks old) suffered terribly from car sickness which is madness on an island that's only 9 miles by 3 miles on average. She travels in a cage in the boot and was only ever sick on the outward journey, never when coming ho...

I can't pretend to understand the emotions you're going through at the moment. I hope it's helpful to know that there are others rooting for Pepper and hoping you get her home soon where she belongs.

How is Chilli coping without her?

Re: Who has had/ has got the oldest dog......

I have a old girl Molly who was born on 8 April 2003 so she's nearly 15 years and 8 months old. She lives with my ex-wife in Belfast. Her pedigree name is Country Girl at Heart. She sleeps about 20 hours a day, still enjoys to go out for a short walk on the flat and sometimes forgets that she's not ...
