Re: A thread for Rosie and Edie

What fantastic weather and great photos!

Just out of interest, how long does a 5 mile walk with 2 schnauzers take?

The furthest we've been with Monty is a couple of miles as we think his growth is slowing down now and he can manage it well.

Tribal TLC Compressed Food

Hi

Just wondered if anyone had any experience of Tribal TLC compressed dog food. I have had a trial bag sent to me (Turkey adult version) and I've been on their website. It looks interesting, but I'm keen to not rock the boat re: Monty's diet.

Thanks.

Re: Jasper and Monty the brothers get together

They look like little pocket dynamos with plenty of energy. Lovely photos.

Our Monty hasn't met any of his siblings yet but we do keep in touch over Whatsapp and share photos every now and then.

Re: Weight Stalling

Thanks both. I think it's the stagnation that got me worrying a tad. But I definitely feel reassured now. So thank you both! I'll just keep weighing him weekly and monitoring. We still feed Monty three times a day (7:30, 12:30 and 18:00) but I'm thinking whether or not to change to twice a day. Feed...

Weight Stalling

Hi all I just have a very quick question about weight. Monty is doing well and is currently enjoying Wainwrights grain free lamb and veg trays. He is eating a tray a day over 3 meals (3 x 130g) His weight at 6 months was 7.5kg. I weighed him last week and he was 7.6kg. Today he is still 7.6kg. Thats...

On the canal...

Monty enjoyed a two hour trip on a canal boat today. He loved it and charmed all of the other passengers. He has a lovely temperament around people and will do anything for a bit of fuss. So much so, he gets a bit miffed when he doesn't get the attention that he thinks he deserves! https://i.postimg...

Re: Ears!

Thanks both. I think it's the scissor sound he doesn't like; the snip as the blades go together if that makes sense. I might need to look into some that are a little quieter. I have a bit of a traumatic experience with his nails. They are now jet black and I struggle to see the quick. Monty doesn't ...

Ears!

Hi all We are grooming Monty at home and he is becoming more and more willing to have a haircut as he knows he gets some of his favourite treats. We groom him at the end of our dining table on a non-slip mat. It's a two person job at the mo, and we use the schnauzer charts very loosely to try and he...

Re: Lily's Kitchen Feeding Amounts

Thank you. My friend has started feeding Jack on a can a day of the Lily's Kitchen puppy range, and he is doing really well, so sticking with this for now :) I'm trying to convince her to join the forum to post some pics of the gorgeous boy! Monty is still on the Wainwrights grain free trays, with a...

Lily's Kitchen Feeding Amounts

We finally have Monty settled on a diet of Wainwrights grain free trays. However, a friend has recently welcomed a little mini schnauzer into their home, and they are keen to try out Lily's Kitchen. I was taking a look at the feeding guide and it seems like quite a high amount daily compared to othe...

Re: Mini Schnauzers In The Hot Weather

Thanks for the replies. Louise, I hope Ollie is ok today. The heat seems to be at its peak today. Monty is doing ok, but was a little sick in his sleep again last night - however, we think we have found the cause of this particular episode. He's been munching on sticks and soil in the back garden, t...
