Re: Just when we thought things couldn't get any worse!

Hi Jill So lovely to come on & read your lovely news what a good husband you must have to give you the best Christmas ever. I know Pixie won't replace your precious Maisie but she is obviously meant to be with having the name that you would of chosen for your next puppy. My boy Gino came from Ayrshi...

Re: Heartbreak and advice...

Hi Edmund So heartbreaking to read about Pablo & what a lovely boy. I’m so sorry that you lost him so young & you never had long with him. You have missed out on so much as owning a Schnauzer is a lovely experience as they are super little dogs. I now have Gino who is just coming up for 19 months I ...

Re: Farewell our little princess Pepper

So sorry to read that Pepper has gone over I’m hoping that my girl Suzi will be playing with her. It’s so heartbreaking when they go, Pepper was way too young. I’m thinking of you both at this sad time as know you will be hurting so much, 19 months on & it still hurts for me. They leave a big gap in...

Re: Recommendations for an anxiety or thunder coat?

My friend gave me the Thundershirt that she had bought for her Cavalier King Charles as it didn't work for him, it also didn't work for my girl Suzi but I used to put it on her to keep her warm while out for walks. I still have it as felt it was too expensive to get rid of when I lost Suzi. So far I...

Re: Any breeds your schnauzer doesn't like?

So far Gino likes every dog that he meets, he just runs up to them all but I know its early days being only 18 months. As for my last girl she hated German Shepherds / Alsatians as one made a run at her as we came out of our back gate one night cant remember how old she was at the time but she never...

Well I have bought some charcoal biscuits for Sasha (and Oscar) so we'll see how we get on :D

That's good Mike but please remember it's not an overnight change so it does take some time also I recommend the probiotic yoghurt as I use both every day.

Re: New to Schnauzer’s

Gosh you do have your hands full with a baby & a puppy. Welcome to the forum We don't have children and didn't get our first Schnauzer puppy until one of us was retired, have to say she cried every night for at least a week or even two, hated the crate, we had to give up on it as she was going to he...

Re: Beard stain...

Thanks Mike & Julie. Susan …...Gosh Dorothy is a beauty with her lovely white beard. As Julie said I do feed Gino on dried Kibble, he's on Burns as was my last girl. I was also told it was their Saliva, & was told about the charcoal biscuits & the probiotic yoghurt. It doesn't change overnight, it d...

Re: Poor Otto - hemorrhagic gastroenteritis

Hi Julie So sorry to hear about Otto do hope he makes a quick recovery. Have to say I never experienced this with my last one in fact she was so healthy it was unbelievable. Only once in her nearly 13 years of her life did she need out during the night. We are so hoping that our boy Gino is the same...
