I am so glad he was such a good boy, he seems to be very in tune with you bless him, it show...

Re: Stan The Man

I am so sorry to read about little Stanley passing - very very sad, and so sudden. There is nothing anyone can say to make you feel better, my heart goes out to you and your family.

Re: Oscar attacked

Hi Mike, I'm sorry but I must of missed your original post about poor Oscar, but I'm pleased to hear he doesn't seem any worse for wear from this incident. Very scary for all concerned and you are being responsible for reporting this incident to the police, hopefully it will stop this happening again

Re: 8 month standard schnauzer food

Hi Jo, I have 2 spayed standard bitches and one weighs 12 kilos and one weighs 13.5 kilos, both are considered the correct weight by our vets. On does put on weight more easily and one loses weight easily so I have to keep a close eye one them. I feed them Natures Menu frozen nuggets, and that is re...

Gosh no - leave all the eye fur in place, goodness knows what he'd get up to if he has clear, non interrupted vision =)) I bet Barney is looking down and watching and thinking "my poor mum" what has she done - ;)

Re: rehoming from kennel to house

Welcome to the forum and wishing you the best of luck in helping your boy adjust to a normal "dogs" life, once he has settled I am sure he will appreciate the home comforts that await him. As Leigh said, it will be lovely to hear how he progresses.

Re: Giant Schnauzer glaucoma. Anyone else experienced this?

I totally agree with you. When we knew Murphy was in heart failure we were offered a lovely S & P mini who was looking for a good home as she had been diagnosed with an eye problem, unfortunately we wasn't able to take her because we didn't know how long Murphy would live and we didn't feel it was f...

Re: Giant Schnauzer glaucoma. Anyone else experienced this?

Hi Leigh, Please don't think I was having a pop at you for suggesting contacting the kennel club, I just found them to be very unhelpful and unsympathetic. The breeder in question was a very well known breeder in our area also a judge, and I contacted her when Murphy was originally diagnosed and she...
