Re: Ever tried cutting a pizzle ?

If you re just wanting to try the boys with one, independent pet stores normally sell them individually. I just object to paying same price for skinny little one as a big fat one as they're normally in a big bin :)) Most pets shops stock the Hollings packets of pizzles but Barneys not always liked t...

Re: Ever tried cutting a pizzle ?

Mike they can be a bit whiffy but no worse than dried tripe. I don't mind the pong really its only as they chew. If they leave off and it dries it doesn't smell. Never noticed any stains from them but we have patterned carpet. Sam bet you crossed your legs at the thought of loppers chopping it in tw...

Ever tried cutting a pizzle ?

Barney isn't a great chewer he never has been. I normally try to get pizzles around half inch diameter. These last him a few days having an occasional chew. He does love them but not the hard chew. I saw some on the internet for "toy breeds" I thought they'd be perfect. I think they sent the wrong o...

Re: Dog Attack

Poor Barney. All good advise and in the meantime have you heard of Yellow Dog UK ? Of course its generally responsible dog owners who know about it but the more people that use it the more it will become known about and help dogs that need space.

That's amazing. Someone once posted a picture of a giant pepper and salt that did the same.

:ymsick:
Thank goodness I've got a fussy eater. Doesn't eat poo (maybe a couple of fresh rabbit droppings at a push) and the thought of degrading himself to licking the floor for food [-x =))

Re: A thread for Rosie and Edie

Mike, We're very lucky in Guernsey. The island is only 25 square miles so you're never more than a couple of miles from the coast. After 30 September we can take our dogs onto all the beaches again :) Yeah and what does Barney like least, the beach =)) It has that funny moving stuff that gives you ...

Re: Puppy food

I agree I wouldn't give the rice either. Barney regularly eats grass he's a bit of a sheep. He just likes it and has specific patches he goes to for a nibble. I sprout wheatgrass and let it grow a few inches. You would think I was giving him fillet steak, loves it.
