Re: is it possible to train them not to bark at children?

Schnauzers are the best alert guard dogs. I think my girl hears the Amazon driver as he leaves the depot!! Not as reactive now that she’s older, but usually gives a short warning to anyone daring to put anything through our letterbox. Both mine know when it’s myself or my husband coming home but any...

Re: Family Walk at Ferry Meadows Country Park

Looks like you had a great time. I'm about to have foot surgery but it would be lovely to arrange a walk next spring at ferry meadows. I'm not far away in Deeping with Suzie 4 1/2 and her pup Dexter born in July this year.

Re: New member!

I've got to say that I feel any dog should keep all parts they were born with and felt a bit shocked by the pictures of Gattzby's ears. My sister in law has a female whose ears naturally stand up and has had pups that stand too,(fellow member Jacdawes pup Hamish who is currently recovering from cani...

Re: Dog Attacks _ again

As any new dog and owner approach myself and Suzie, I always call over 'is you're dog ok with my pup'. Any dog potentially is not going to be sociable, I'm learning which ones locally, and so far they've all been the cute and fluffy looking ones that changed into Mr Hyde as we get close! Everyone ha...

New member Suzie

I have just joined the Forum so am still learning to navigate! Finally managed to reply to a post using TapaTalk but adding photos as I only have an iPad is eluding me. I have a beautiful 10 month old girl called Suzie (presently sleeping by my side) who has taken over my life since bringing her hom...

Re: Haircut

My 10 month old Suzie is regularly clipped, ears de-fluffed and bathed and is easier to keep clean on her walks as she loves nothing better that getting dirty! I've found little and often grooming keeps her looking her best and doesn't stress her, she is happy to be handled by me and groomers. Sent ...
