Re: Good Citizen dog training

That’s such a shame! We have been through the same scheme with both of ours, but only to bronze level....the stay was the most stressful. As you say, its usually in a testing centre that you have never been to before, new smells, new dogs, and possibly a young puppy....that’s stressful enough! We fo...

Spay

Not been here for sometime but wanted some knowledgable advice. Before I discuss with our vets, I wanted to gain some knowledge first. Minny Bear is in her 4th season, started bleeding 9th April, currently day 13 and very receptive! She has had a delayed season, due February and had all signs( smell...

Re: Vaccinations

I'm following the three year revisit protocol for base vaccines as we can't have titers done here. Every time we go we get browbeaten into cosidering the lepto vacc...I refuse with reasons and vet ends up agreeing with me... So be clear what you want for your dog with your lifestyle and hold firm.....

Vaccinations

So not been on the forum for some time, but I do know it’s a good place for knowledge. We’re due vaccinations, 3rd year but Lolah will not be having them. Her year 1 booster adequately covers for 3 years as per manufacturer. She did however last year have lepto 2. I was under the impression that as ...

Minny Bear is growing up...signs of an imminent season?

http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160714/25b1e5e982abbc69526ba17afb11ce44.jpg Minny Bear has turned 6 months today and I'm not sure if I am being paranoid and seeing into things or it really is happening. As Lolah didn't experience a season, I'm not sure what to expect but the last few days Minny h...

Re: Nervous 9 month standard

I'm sorry to hear your problems, from our very recent experience with Lolah who has always been a little noise averse but it has suddenly escalated, we got a fantastic behaviourist in straight away along with adaptil collar (which has been amazing) adaptil room diffuser and thunder shirt. I will not...

Re: preparing for new pup - some questions!

Re: Dog feeding

Lolah used to turn her nose up at her kibble too...she would be all saggy tailed when you called her for 'din dins' but would look at it and just turn away! We have not looked back since the day we moved onto raw.....she has never refused a meal in 9 months! Must be worth considering?? Sent from my ...
