Re: Please help - grey/mucus stools - emergency vet?
If she's leaving meals and getting picky,I'd go to two meals after five months..what is her weight ? She looks a big pup in the pic,but could just be the pic..keep her on three meals for now,but between five to five and a half m consider going to two meals if she continues to refuse meals.. if you e...

Re: Please help - grey/mucus stools - emergency vet?
I would not give the dental chew...a lot of them are Chinese in origin..also rawhide are not ideal... How many meals is she on now? If four ,cut to three and consider going to two around 6 months...over feeding can also cause a looser stool..be sure to keep to your daily amount split between the mea...

Re: Please help - grey/mucus stools - emergency vet?
Mucus in the stool is not an emergency but does indicate the bowel is irritated...this can be caused by changes in the diet or even stress..,I would give the dog enterogermina,a probiotic and monitor stools and general behavior as you are doing. Your pup is also teething at this moment which could i...

Re: HELP!! Puppy has diarhea and purple-red ish fluid arround it
Hi Nikola..can I ask if you bought the pup from a pet shop market? If so ,its probably never been wormed before it came to you,,or maybe, even had its vaccinations..I say this as a good breeder will have done the first wormings for a pup before he is sold..the amount of worms your pup has expelled,su...

Re: HELP!! Puppy has diarhea and purple-red ish fluid arround it
Nikola, given your country,I wil advise you to go to the farmacia and buy puppy drontal...follow the instructions carefully.... Seriously,if you keep giving medications without knowing the cause, you could injure the puppy... If you have actually seen a worm, drontal should get the pup worm free... You...

Which country are you in?
If your pup has worms the vet MUST prescribe for you a wormer specific for that parasite..
Over the counter meds won't be efficient..you need a good vet....this pup will become very ill indeed if you leave this days and days.

Re: Random throwing up
Hi in,,one very simple thing to do is an eco gram..this can tell you if he has eaten something and retained it in his stomach..it will tell you if the gut lining is irritated..sometimes objects can be swallowed and sit for a month or two in the stomach...my bet is something like this...I hope you ge...

Re: Is this normal for 16 weeks?
Hi, The standards can be much more of a challenge than the minis..this can go on for the first year. Your pup,at four months is beginning to take the Mickey.....this isn't just mouthing but it is your pup testing you out.. Forget being a statue you need to be more proactive.. I would definitely star...

Re: Mini's pink skin showing under the coat?? 2 months old
Lovely pics,he looks such a character! NIkola..the less undercoat your pup has will make grooming easier for your dog and for you to keep the coat under control. If you start to card the coat now..get a coarse stripping knife and run horizontally through the coat in the direction of hair growth ( to...

Re: Cushing disease v diabetes v overweight
Hi Lesley.. I'd definitely do a blood and urine test..he's at the age for a general health test anyway,( I'd also ask the vet to manually test his prostate too ,just because of his age,not because of these symptoms).,, Now then, what are your in house temperatures? The other evening my little dog pan...
