Hello

Post by lorryd »

I have been a "lurker" on here for many years. My lovely little girlie, Daisy sadly died at the start of this horrible virus. She was 14 and we were distraught. We couldn't be with her for her final moments at the vets because of Covid19 regulations.
We have now decided to start a search for another little furry companion to steal our hearts (easier said than done). I can't believe how big a hole being doggy less has left in our lives. She was funny, sweet, naughty and drove us insane on occasions but we miss her.

Hi there, so sorry to hear of your loss and at a time when you probably needed all the comfort of your dog. I know exactly how you feel and I am sure another lovely pup is just what you need, although for me, having a puppy after 14 years came as a bit of a shock, I had forgotten just how full on they can be but a lovely distraction nonetheless . Best of luck with your search and be really diligent, quite a lot are being bred at the moment at much inflated prices and there are also scammers out there.
Man cannot survive with wine alone...
we also need a schnauzer.

Hello Loraine,
Welcome to the Forum although I am so sorry that you have joined at such a sad time for you. It is heartbreaking when one of our dogs pass away but it must have been even more so for you with Daisy given the circumstances. Sending hugs to you and your family and good luck in your search for a new canine companion :)

Hi Lorraine welcome from me so sorry to hear of your loss it’s heartbreaking when they leave us as they’re so precious to us. Know how you’re feeling do hope you manage to have another. I so needed another when I lost my precious girl who was so special to me. Her groomer who was an ex Breeder & a Judge put me in touch with a Breeder as she always knew about due litters. My boy wasn’t a replacement for her that wasn’t his job he was to ease my pain & he sure has, still miss my girl 3 years on but have a super wee boy & is certainly a Mum’s boy. Take care

Suzi (15/5/04---13/4/17) (Sugarbabe) RIP loved you to the moon & back, miss you so so much precious girl
