Fergus was at the vet today.
There was another very slight improvement, but tear production is still far too low.
The vet asked us to go back in 6 months, but it looks like it is for life. :(

Colin, he is clearly too happy for tears..... lucky for you he doesn't mind the drops. Sorry it wasn't better news for Fergus.

Well, as long as there is some improvement, there's hope. And if not, he will be a happy fellow either way, I'm sure.

I have a similar problem, and I can't use contact lenses because of that. If I wear them for something concrete I have to use tones of drops every hour or so.

I stopped producing tears for about 6 months in my thirties.
All fine now, so there is always hope.
