Hi everybody
I'm Kate and I'm Mindy's mum. She's a very sweet 3-year-old Miniature Schnauzer cross. We live in North Hykeham, Lincoln. Mindy would love to have some doggy walking friends (and I would too).

Hello and welcome to the forum. I'm sure you will find it a warm friendly place to be. You will be able to get and give good ideas about our furry friends or just have a laugh at some of the things they get up to. I live in Cambs so a bit too far to come for a walk but you never know I may have a day out in summer and be looking for local knowledge.

Yes I did. It is about my 2 airedales and a welsh terrier. I had airedales for 30+ years and a welsh for 12 years and it is the story of the two pups mahri (airedale) and elle (welsh) and a rescue airedale Mr Mac. All the profits from the book go to dog charities.
My late husband bought me a mini schnauzer shortly before he died. I'd been saying that I was getting a bit old to handle the big dogs and if we were going to have another it would have to be a small dog. I wanted a poodle but he chose the dog and his name.
I love Hamish and through him fell in love with the breed so much that I now have Suzi who will be 9 months on 9th March. I did think about writing another book about Hamish but after Tom died I just couldn't apply myself.
