Had enough of your Schnauzer for one day. Then sit back, relax and put your feet up. You can let off a little steam here about things unrelated to your four-legged schnauzer.
I have read somewhere that this was the case and it was the only thing that potentially put us off the breed.
Today Gaspard went frog chasing in the lake. He was covered in green algae and smelly mud and absolutely loved it. We had to give him a bath afterwards as all the mud had baked dry in the sun. Just as he was almost dried off, what did he do ? Jumped into the ornamental fish pond ! Prefers the smell to doggy shampoo i assume !
3 baths in one day ...and i think he ate a live baby frog too )))
Wonderful, mine have always loved water and I think Max will as well as he keeps standing on the river wall. Not only do they love water but the smellier the better as you have just found out. Just thought Max loves his smelly puddles.
I love that card. That was almost exactly the look on his face when we bathed him ....not his first bath mind you, he has had one last week too. He adores anything manky to eat, roll in , not bothered really...the mankier the better. Thank gos he loves to be brushed and in general likes hs baths..except when next to the fish pond which is of course far mush nicer ))
Oh yes they do, this is my little girl just after she had swan ashore, she loves it
And this is my boy after he had had a total brat attack and was banished to the dinghy for misbehaving

my puppy looks to be the same and last week aged 10 weeks, she decided after been told serval times to come away from the pond she would take a flying leap into it. Our fears over if she could swim were answered. swimming beautifully and we find if it stinks and she can roll in it or eat it then she will do it. I don't remember reading that in my 'guide to Schnauzers' book!!
