Well a few of you will know that I've been fed up with work for some time & been saying I'm going to leave ;) well tonight I went up to see them at work & handed in my letter of resignation :-o (have never done that before, this is job number 3 since leaving school age 16, made redundant at 20 & again 15 months later). I was 42 last week.
I've had to give 4 weeks notice, then that's it no more working for Boots.
What's the plan :-\ hopefully dog walking, pet sitting etc & eventually get a dog grooming course done.
I've got my advert on Yell.com & my cards done, so tomorrow I will start putting up postcards in shops & cross my fingers the phone rings soon.

Was talking to my daughters next door neighbour at the weekend and he told me about another neighbour close by who has hurt her leg and can't take her 2 Labradors out for walks and is currently paying a dog walker £150 a week to walk her dogs (according to him they are not out for long with the dogs either)
I have no idea how much dog walking costs, but I was abit surprised at the price :-o
Wish I was abit nearer, cos I would consider doing it for that

£150 blimey that sounds like a lot of money ? But if it 2 dogs that's probably about right (£7 1/2 hour - £10 hour per dog)
