New look

Post by Dinkum »

We always get quite a bit of flack about being the 'blue forum' and I often see the forum being referred to as such on Facebook and other sites.

I thought to counter this colour discrimination against the forum, I would change the colour of the forum. I will probably do this about once a year.

This year I have opted for red as it is quite vibrant and certainly makes the forum stand out.

Please let me know what you think and feel free to make colour suggestions. I may do green next as it is spring.

I offer my advice freely, but I am not an expert, breeder, groomer or behaviourist. It is simply my experience of raising pups in a way that seems to make sense.

Oooh that's going to throw me after it being blue for the whole time I have been looking on here!! HA! :)

I am a creature of habit though and don't like things to change, so take no notice of me! ;)

Why do people give you stick for it being blue? I don't understand; perhaps I am missing something (another good reason not to be on FB!). :-\

A fantastic idea with just one flaw. It's not bright enough. Is there the option for shocking pink?

Has it got anything to do with the General Election ....... You had better not let Norman see it whilst he is doing his UKIP bit as otherwise you may have to do a different colour each week to be seen as fair hee hee !

Oh yeh it was blue....was it?....see lost on me lol.
as long as I can read it and can swoon over the pix
I'm not bothered about colour to be honest..
I panic uploading a picture and so if I had the job of
redoing it as it were you'd be lucky to have a forum cos
it would disappear into the ether never to be seen again!!
As we say in Norfolk......you do what you think best boy..

In the past, there were a few schnauzer forums around and people used to refer to them by their main colour. We've always been blue and people often refer to the 'Blue Forum' which indicated this one. Not stick so much, just a colloquial way of referring to this forum. I think we're the only one still operating.

I can never satisfy everyone. =)) I thought there was enough pink in there to keep everyone happy.

I hope everyone realises it was a tongue in cheek April's Fools Day joke, taking fun out of ourselves re the reference to blue. I could never live with that red. Could you imagine staring at that first thing in the morning over a cuppa. No thanks. I'll try green. :-B

No, it's a bit too salmon pink for me, I'd prefer a more vibrant shade to wake me up in the morning and really give the eyes a workout! =))
