Am wondering what this means:
Lolah has been on Natural instinct for about 4-6 weeks now and is on a variety of flavours. I have tried her on the chicken and lamb for the first time 2 days ago. She has about 11 am (just after walk) and 5 pm. She spent the rest of the day for both days in her crate...very unusual for her!
I have therefore today giving her chicken and tripe and she is up and active.
Im thinking that it was either too heavy on her stomach or she didn't like it (although was wolfed down like all her meals). Can anyone give me any advice on what they think. I am a little hesitant to give her this one again. Poops ok!
What does this mean?

No idea, but just wanted to say my two are sleeping more these last few days...weather outside is freezing...think of minus temps...
We walk at nine..come back around ten thirty, they eat and crash in front of a log fire until 3.30 when we go out again for a long walk,.,then they crash, then they eat, will play fetch and then bed...is definitely a dogs life!

I have spoken to someone who thinks it may be the offal in the meal I gave her....next day positively bouncing on another variety...so going to do an experiment when I get round to it!

If the poops were ok & no gassiness then I wouldn't jump to the offal being the problem. And definitely don't give up on it - you need offal for a balanced raw diet. You could start with a smaller quantity of offal, if she hasn't had much of it before, too much of it one go is very likely to result in a very loose bowel :/

Re: What does this mean?
Thanks...I have just put in 20g in her 100g serving and no bad affects so far...would not give up on it because she absolutely loves her raw...I have never seen her so animated for food before!!! her coat is changing and has a lovely silky sheen to it...she is striped and before it would be dry and wiry but now it is soft and silky!Nika C wrote:If the poops were ok & no gassiness then I wouldn't jump to the offal being the problem.
