My Cassie

It is one year today since we had to have our darling little Cassie PTS. The abscess they were
treating her for turned out to be a tumour behind her eye.
I know we did the only thing possible but oh it hurt so much to say those words.
I still miss you baby and think of you every day. Time marches on but the ache in my
heart just doesn't diminish.
Sleep tight little girl, love you xxx

Thinking of you today, I hate these anniversaries, always tough.

Thanks guys, I have to smile when I look at this rather fuzzy photo.
She was always overweight after being spayed at 9 months but I think she was at her heaviest
when this was taken. She was also badly in need of a grooming session but I loved her
looking like this, she looked very bare when she had been clipped as she was a real
silver colour. She was my companion and my faithful little friend.
I really wish I could believe that there IS a Rainbow Bridge and that one day we will meet again there.
Wouldn't it be wonderful to have that amount of faith ?
