In memorium Rainbow bridge 13th April 2017

Saying goodbye to our Schnauzers is the hardest part. Share your memories here as we bid farewell to our beloved friends. They've crossed the bridge and returned to the meadow in full health and free of injuries. Running free. We won't forget.

In memorium Rainbow bridge 13th April 2017

Post by schnauzer »

Suzi another year on. Its only 3 years since we lost you when you went for surgery little did we know that you wouldn’t come home. It still feels like yesterday & you have not been forgotten we still talk about you as you were one precious girl. We so wish that you were still with us, it still hurts as you were so so special.....hope you don’t mind but Gino is looking after me I swear he knows how much I needed him to ease the pain that you left ......when we go for walks we know that you are looking down from doggy heaven. Loved you to the moon & back Suzi

Rainbow Bridge is where I lay my head
I know it’s not the same as your bed
But believe me Mum you gave me the very best
And at the end you’ve let me rest,
I’m so grateful for all the love you gave me
And here at Rainbow bridge I’m peeing up every tree
So please don’t worry about me
I’m in your heart forever 🌈🌈🌈

3 years goodness Christine, it goes so fast. How would Gino and Suzi have got on do you think? I don't think Oscar and Otto would have got on lol.

I read the other day, Heaven is where all the dogs that you've ever loved are waiting for you :x . It's a happy thought, sending :ymhug:

I think Barney and Jasper would have been best buddies, I wish they could have met :(

Am I imagining it Alison, or do I recall you telling me that you had been considering a second before Barney took ill?

I'm looking forward to meeting Jasper again but not sure that it will be any time soon - I think there's a review of the lockdown at then end of the week though I'm not expecting too much relaxation. Hope all is well with you and o/h

We never forget. I still remember when we met Suzi, it was so long ago and so far away.
We had to let our Daisy go last month. We told her to go and find Eddie. I hope she did.
It's nice to post the yearly memorials, you must continue to do it.

Hi Julie I do think Suzi would of been fine with Gino, as Gino is so friendly in fact too friendly with other dogs. Also for the last few years of Suzi’s life I used to Doggy sit Benito who I met while walking her, his mum needed someone to walk him while went to work as she was on her own, Benito & Suzi were best friends.....they moved away but we are still friends. We had a lovely weekend with them just before this Lockdown situation came into place.
