Happy 17th Birthday for Holly our giant schnauzer
Hello. Our gorgeous giant, Holly turned 17 yesterday, I can't believe she is still here at such an age. She is a fantastic dog & has brought so much joy into our lives over the years. She's still going out for a walk every day & she still loves a game of tug & war with her teddy, although she is a bit unsteady on her feet these days. Here are a few pics of her.

Wow Happy 17th Birthday Holly.
Can I ask if she is still nice and black or lots of grey ? Our dear little Lucy who was a black cocker spaniel only made it to just over ten but her ears were so grey.
Everytime I read a lovely post like this I hug our little Wookie (who's 7) and tell her she's got to reach that age and still be fit happy and healthy xxx

I lost Fizz at 10 years and 6 months and Dieta at ten years and ten months.
And both are still missed.

Many thanks for your birthday wishes for Holly. She is still mainly black, she has a few grey hairs on her ears & on the top of her head,also underneath her beard. She really doesn't look her age, it's only her wobbly legs that gives her age away. Here are a couple of recent pics from Sept this year when we were on holiday in Dorset.

What a great age. I know that GS frequently live a long life but 17 years is phenomenal.
