Dog door

The Miniature Schnauzer is a smallest dog in the Schnauzer breed and originated in the mid-to-late 19th Century from Germany. The Miniature Schnauzer is a cross between the Standard Schnauzer and other smaller breeds such as the Poodle. A miniature Schnauzer is a spunky, but aloof dog who does things their own way. They tend to be good guard dogs without the tendency to bite.

Welcome to the Forum Heather :-)

You would probably be best measuring your Schnauzer so you have a precise idea of the size of dog flap needed for him/ her as dogs can vary in size even in the same breed. Most companies producing the pet door flaps will no doubt advise you on which size would be the best for your dog specifically if you contact them regarding their own product.

Hopefully someone on the Forum who uses these may be able to recommend a brand. I have never used one for our dogs and would not do so but from the posts above some people do find them really useful :)
