Just this last week we have seen a change happening.
She doesn't bark when someone comes to the door ... its as if she cant be bothered.
Shes not eating much and her wee back legs are even more unsteady than they were.
Doing a poo without falling over is a major challenge and we try to support her when we see her going into Schnauzer poo imininent mode....im sure youll know what I mean.
She is not remotely interested in going out for walks and spends most of her day sleeping or lying in her bed watching David whos retired and working in the house a lot just now.
She has always liked lying in her own wee bed in the evening when we are watching telly but just in the last few days she had stayed up on our lap when we picked her up for a cuddle.
David is going to take her to the vet tomorrow for an assessment as he thinks she may have had a mini stroke but things don't look good and we are getting our emotions ready for what seems to be Maisies last few hours before passing.
If it is her time we want her to go peacefully without any fear or anxiety or pain.
She will always be our beautiful affectionate wee girl.
