My wee girl Milla.

The Miniature Schnauzer is a smallest dog in the Schnauzer breed and originated in the mid-to-late 19th Century from Germany. The Miniature Schnauzer is a cross between the Standard Schnauzer and other smaller breeds such as the Poodle. A miniature Schnauzer is a spunky, but aloof dog who does things their own way. They tend to be good guard dogs without the tendency to bite.

Hi Boyd

Really nice to hear from you and what a really stunning picture of Milla, those eyes look full of mischief :) and very nice to see a relatives picture too :D

Now if you could only express some of that chocolate cake down to me, that would set my day off perfectly :)

Those pictures on their own look good enough to eat!

From myself, Oscar and Sasha we wish you and Milla a cracking Xmas - hopefully Santa will be kind to her.

Thanks Mike, Milla says hi. Love the picture of your little Santas and that's a very impressive tree by the way. As I type this Milla has had an attack of guard dog syndrome again as she watches one of her wee pals going up the road.

I regret saying I had trained her not to bark at the window now - she was obviously just working on her full repertoire while I was out, waiting for the right time to unveil them. She makes Max seem like a Benedictine Monk.

All the best.

Lovely Christmas photos!

Great to hear how Milla is doing too, Boyd. She sounds quite a character :-)

Hi Boyd,

It's great to read an update from you. Lovely to see a fresh photo of Milla and her relations. She has her mum's colouring and her gran's shape :)

She sounds as if she's a typical mini and lets you know who's really the boss.

You're baking is going from strength to strength and I look forward to being able to pick up a hobby on my retirement!

Best wishes to you and Milla from me, Rosie and Edie.

Mike,

Sasha looks a little happier about being dressed up. I'm not overly sure that Oscar would be best pleased about the photo being shared publicly :)

Love the pics. I started making bread and recently cakes when I retired but mine are not as good looking as yours.

If you could see all of the pictures I took, Oscar and Sasha (but mainly Oscar) look SO unimpressed you wouldn't believe it (or maybe you would). My wife said they looked really miserable :)

They really dislike any form of accessory, from bandana to winter coat to towelling coat (to soak up the wet) - only a collar will do. I remember when we first had Oscar, treating him (me) to a Barbour dog coat, will he wear it!? Will he cocoa :((

I did thanks Sam. Hope you had a lovely time too.
I had my niece and her family and my sister and brother in law over for Boxing Day and Lily the little girl said she wanted a photo of her and Milla for her bedside table back home in South Carolina so she could wake up to her every morning. How sweet kids are. Here is the photo I did for her. She and her Mummy were thrilled.

I think your grand niece will enjoy looking at the photo in the morning. Milla's a wee beauty.

We'd a good couple of days Boyd. We only had 4 visitors for dinner and after the usual "welcome" Rosie and Edie settled down and enjoyed the attention. Boxing day was at sister-in-law and as they have 5 cats I thought it best to leave the dogs at home while we were out for lunch. It was a masterstroke as I was able to leave the rest of the family to go home to take the dogs out for a walk :)

I have the same thoughts as you do about leaving the dog behind when visiting family. I remember reading about Max.

Sounds like you had a great time Sam, I much prefer the lesser numbers as I think people feel more relaxed and involved.
Happy New Year to you, your family and your "wee ones" Happy New Year to all on the Schnauzer Forum.

Here are some happy snaps of Milla in the summer, looking every inch the loving and playful wee rascal she has grown into.
