Sasha
Hi everyone,
I just thought I would post some pictures of my little minx Sasha.
We may have failed our bronze good citizens test the other week but we continue our obedience training both at class and at home. She really is the most delightful girl (and I know we all say that about our Schnauzers), with a VERY strong sense of what she will and will not do ;)
I'm just so pleased we decided to get a 2nd Schnauzer and a companion for Oscar, they really do love one another.

Re: Sasha
Lovely photos, she looks like Otto. Is Oscar neutered? If not what are your plans for handling Sasha's season?

we also need a schnauzer.

Re: Sasha
Lovely girl
I would rather have character than obedience any day but then we do have 8 Affenpinschers and that is a breed that have a strong sense of their own superiority to all others and consequently can be a trial (or a joy if they really want to do something) where any kind of training is involved

Re: Sasha
Thank you everyone for your lovely comments - she loves the camera, when she wants to love the camera ;)
Last weekend we went for a walk in a field of bluebells, I could not get her to sit or down or just stay for love nor money or even treats (so I could get a nice photo). She was too busy running around and having fun bless her. So I didn't stress, I just hoped there would be another occasion next weekend, before the bluebells start wilting away! Oscar on the other hand was quite happy to sit and pose for me, just as long as a treat or two followed
Oscar is neutered but we'll still keep a careful eye on them both when Sasha comes into season, we have puppy nappies at the ready (which I was going to try on her of a night). And of course, when we take them out walking, Sasha will have to stay on the lead. I read somewhere that it may be better to take Sasha out very early or later in the evening to minimize her contact with other dogs. It will be a real shame as she loves to run around and play with Oscar when they are both out. But I guess it will only be for a few weeks.....
