What am I doing wrong ?

Hi, Never been much good at technical thingies but I have been trying for ages to put some photos of our new puppy
on the forum. I write the post then I go to photobucket and my album and click on the photo I want and then on img but when I have done that my post has disappeared ! Just about to give up in despair Please help if you can.

I can tell you how I do it using my iPad
Go to Photo bucket
Click "my albums"
It should open up to a screen of photo's
Tap the photo you want
Then at the top it shows a little icon thing like three little circles joined together click that
Then a load of things drop down, click the second from the bottom "IMG Code"
Then it says "image code copied to clip board OK" tap that
Then when you've written your post tap the screen & paste the code.
There's probably an easier way of doing it but it works for me

I think I do pretty much the same as Wookie Woo on the computer.
Have schnauzer forum post and photobucket as 2 open tabs.
In Photobucket hover the mouse cursor over the picture in my album that I want to use and a drop down menu appears.
Go to the image code at the bottom and click - it should go yellow and say 'copied'
in the post on schnauzer forum right click and from the drop down menu select 'paste' and that should import the photo.

Thank you Helen and Leigh, That's brilliant, you both made it sound really easy I think that not having the two pages open at the same time is where I went wrong. I was opening Photobucket after I had written my post. I will have another go after the man delivers our Indian meal.
