For those interested, here's the nerdy camera bit.......


These pics are slightly out of focus because I'm using a Nikon perspective f2:8 lens. It's a lens I'm using off my Nikon F3 on my Canon 400D with a onverter - brilliant thing btw, thoroughly recommend it. The main problem is, it's all manual, including the focus, and it's designed for close up macro use - though it can take shots far off too, it's a pretty awesome lens - however, because it's manual focus, and the focal point is very small, it's hard to get a decent shot of animals with it, so I don't use it very often when doing the dogs, because unless they're perfectly still, or asleep, they often move out of the focal point - it's rare I get a decent shot with this lens of an animal.

People obviously are better, cos they stay still when told!

I miss my camera achingly. I use manual entirely now after my Sigma lens' motor broke and I had no choice...I find you can be much more creative that way, too!
