Since bonfire night last year, Daisy has rarely slept fully through the night and it’s now become a nightly experience for her to be tapping on the bedroom door or barking continuously until we put her back in her bed when she’ll then settle. For a few hours. Then it starts again.
We are both utterly drained through lack of sleep and would appreciate advice from anyone that’s gone or going through similar.
Sleep disturbance.

Re: Sleep disturbance.
We had a similar problem with Oscar when we moved house. He just wouldn't settle in the new kitchen so we bought a soft carrier type crate so he couldn't wander around and placed him in our bedroom. Fixed the problem for us.

Thanks. Daisy snores loudly so in the bedroom is a no.
I suspect restricting her should be tried but I expect her to try and break out!

No experience of anything like this but I wonder if a thunder shirt would help? Or just an equafleece, I have heard they have a similar reassuring effect to a thunder shirt.
