Thought it was about time I did a bit of an update. Mia and I finished the puppy class with the trainer in the neighbouring area (she mentored the trainer who set up our centre and sometimes does workshops for us) it was a bit of a fact finding exercise for me to see if she did anything different to us and for Mia to meet some 'city' dogs, also I had to wait to get on our puppy class. Last night we started the KC puppy foundation with our training centre and amazingly there was another mini, a gorgeous little girl p+s called Connie (will be passing the forum address to them next week). They bonded straight away while we were waiting to go in, which was lovely. I was pleased that she was able to transfer the things she'd learnt in the village hall to our barn which is much bigger and covered in sand. She is now 'resting' in her bed [sun]

Mia had her first experience of an agility show yesterday (over at the heavy horse centre Elaine) it was lovely, she also met her first great dane who was very tall even in great dane terms, I could kick myself for not getting a photo, she was just about the size of his head. It was funny as every time we went past someone I heard them say 'it's one of them dogs that won Wizard of Oz, you know dangerous Dave'. The weather stayed fine and we had a lovely day out.

We've been having a go at agility in the garden, getting Mia to wait at the jump (with the poles on the ground) and then to run 'over' them. So just to keep Tulip quiet
