Looking after the health and welfare of your Schnauzer can be a full time job. You will find information on neutering, spaying, vaccinations, vet visits, upset tummies, Schnauzer bumps and much more here. Ask a question and someone will have had a similar experience. We also appreciate updates on how your Schnauzer is recuperating. A separate section is dedicated to our older Schnauzers.

James and Katherine, heartbreaking for you, I am so sorry for your loss.

She isn't in pain any more and sometimes the decision is just taken out of your hands really. Sending you lots of hugs and best wishes.

Every snack you make
Every meal you bake
Every bite you take
He'll be watching you......

James and Katherine,
I'm really sorrow to read about Pepper. Losing a loved pet so young is a terrible thing to deal with. RIP Pepper.

The hardest part of taking care of a dog is saying goodbye. Our thoughts are with you.

I offer my advice freely, but I am not an expert, breeder, groomer or behaviourist. It is simply my experience of raising pups in a way that seems to make sense.

For those of you that also have a dog prone to pancreatitis, Nutriment have introduced a new range of raw "support" food. Some of the products are low in fat, which will help with pancreatitis and some will be good for dogs recovering from surgery and other ailments. Unfortunately, it was too late for Pepper, but hopefully someone else reading this topic, will find the information useful.
