Bobbie is very poorly

A short while ago Sharon noticed that Bobbie was looking on the thin side and decided to get her checked out for pancretitis etc. Blood tests showed a raised liver enzyme level so she was put on some liver pills and booked in for an ultrasound scan. The scan showed an enlarged heart and liver but no real reason was apparent. Bobbie was put on some more pills, including a low dose steroid which bucked her up. Further checks still didn't reveal much and she went in for an X ray. This didn't show a lot but the vet has been getting increasingly worried about her breathing that has been getting a bit laboured.

She went in again today for a series of X rays under a general and we get the news we were dreading. Bobbie has got some very aggresive tumors in her lungs and her lifespan is now measured in months.

We are now in the process of spoiling her even more rotten than she normally is. On the plus side she isn't in any pain and obviously knows nothing of her illness.

If either Sharon or I come across a bit sharp in any of our posts over the next few months please forgive us.

I'm at a loss to know what to say....I'm just so sorry and my thoughts are with you, Sharon and your schnauzer family.

I hope you'll feel able to come on the forum to get support from it's members, even if it's only virtual hugs

So so sorry for you and Bobbie. Each day with them is so precious and these things make us all realise just how much.

Oh my god I'm so sorry to read your post & like everyone else said & our vet said to us when we found out that Lucy (our cocker) had T Cell lymphoma "take her home & enjoy every day together"
