TICKS OR NOT

Looking after the health and welfare of your Schnauzer can be a full time job. You will find information on neutering, spaying, vaccinations, vet visits, upset tummies, Schnauzer bumps and much more here. Ask a question and someone will have had a similar experience. We also appreciate updates on how your Schnauzer is recuperating. A separate section is dedicated to our older Schnauzers.

Followed the link which zeta1454 put in listing, and
there is a photo of a group, with caption about going
to Ferry Meadows. We have a Ferry Meadows near us,
and was wondering if it was same one ??

As for another post about treatments from vets,
they do not cure the problem but treat it.In some cases
make it worse. The same applying to us humans.
To make a short story long,l have been looking into
this lately. It appears that all of the Billions of £'s $'s being
thrown at Cancer treatments is all it is.They will never look
for a cure because the stockholders demand their money.
Chemo only makes people feel better once,if used when it comes
back,the person will be worse.

Sorry to bring that up,but it comes down to a shortage of
Iodine,Testoserones and Hormones. These would be natural ones
and not ones put into a tablet,as the have preservatives so the keep.

Sorry people. X( X( X(

Re Ferry Meadows, not sure about the photo but the place we have visited for organised schnauzer get-togethers is part of Nene Park, Peterborough:
https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Attractio ... gland.html

We travel down from our home in North Yorkshire once a year but Schnauzer families living locally may go more often if it is local to you and you wanted to meet up with others there :)

Re your other topic, I do share your cynicism of the medical establishment (for animals and people). Sadly, the financial links / sponsorship/ deals etc. which they have with the pharmaceutical companies does tie them in to drugs and treatments that are profitable for those companies' shareholders rather than motivated by a real desire to heal. It does often seem that instead of providing a service which promotes and supports good health, the established services are there to prop up a sick population of people and animals by creating a dependency on drugs and "prophylactic" medications that have their own risks to health and well being.

I try with our own family to keep them fit and well with good diet, exercise and herbal or homeopathic treatments for minor issues and minimise as much as possible giving them any pharmaceuticals. Researching as much about treatments of any kind is also a good idea as knowledge is the best tool (and weapon :D ) when it comes to making a decision over the health of yourself or your family, pets included of course :)
