Introducing Dismas Of Queneesh

Post by flugelboneman »

Last November we lost our beloved Queneesh Gunnar aka Kaiser. We went thru such agony over the loss, we vowed never again. Somehow the house seemed so empty without him. We had been aware of Steinhaus Standard Schnauzers for some years, but thought we would not be at their door. However, in June we picked up a seven week old male pup while we were en route on a long RV trip. It was a dandy place to break a puppy in, as the quarters were confined and we could monitor his movements pretty well. We are now home, Dismas, or Diz is now a healthy robust 3 1/2 month old wherving dervish. He is a total delight and we once again feel complete with a schnauzer ruling??? the house. :)) Image

I remember reading your sad post last November and could relate to all you said.
How lovely and heart warming to read you now have another dog who is filling your lives with Joy. But you will never forget Kaiser!

Thx for comments, especially yours, Barbara. You are right, we will never forget Kaiser. He left a gap in our lives that could only be filled with another Std Schnauzer. Even at 4 months, I see traits of our beloved K Man in our new puppy. He will be his own personality, but he is definitely going to help heal the pain of the loss.
