My Schnauzer skin problem

Post by Carcar »

Hi, I'm new to schnauzer. I have just adopt a schnauzer from a friend last month, realised that he has serious skin problem in the eyes, nose and mouth area.
Eyes with stick liquid come out and the skin is slightly bleeding everytime i clean his eyes stain.
Around nose and mouth areas, the hair are gone, the skin is redness and itchy, sometime bleeding also.
I brought him to vet, but dr said it caused by his own body. But I don't what is that.
I have a few images attached here.
If anyone have similar experiences, please share.
Not sure if i change the dog food would be better for him.
His previous owner feed him with Happy Dog Irland.
Now i changed his dog food to Alps Natural Pureness Salmon.
