Exactly, that will be 3 for us, which I think will be our limit this time. If it weren't for Alfie's condition and the fact I'll be heading to Dublin for work on the Sunday night (which means we have to travel to this walk and the Bristol one in separate vehicles :)) ) I might be tempted to try more =)), but sometimes you have to know when to stop or you meet yourself coming backwards :-s

CHANGE of VENUE

this has now changed to Ogmore on Sea - which is by consensus a better location for the walk and easily accesible

Leave M4 at junction 35, follow signs to Porthcawl then take Ogmore by Sea turnoff. CF32 0PH meet in beach car park.

Big car park but I think we should be able to spot each other given the nature of our passengers :)

Thanks to Nick, his family & Ernie for hosting this walk. Some 20 or so minis and associated humans disturbed the peace at Ogmore this morning :)) . It was a joy to see all the dogs running so free and happy, with the wind in their hair :D . A great location and hopefully there will be more walks in the area in the near future.

We met lots of lovely people and their gorgeous dogs and it was great that everyone was so enthusiastic about supporting the cause.

Alfie did get an impromptu dunking in the sea when he got duffed up by a large, black dog, but he did start it & was none the worse thankfully, daft dog ;)

Yes, thanks Nick (not sure if you're on the forum). Lovely, relaxed windswept walk - after Bob stopped shrieking with the initial excitement of it all!

Hi all,
Thanks to everyone who came to Ogmore by Sea. My family and I had a fabulous time. Apparently my son invited most of you and your Schnauzers for Christmas lunch!!! Hope to see you again...perhaps a Christmas / New Year walk if the weather is agreeable.

Ha, ha, absolutely true :)) . I think Steve said we could only make it for Boxing Day =)) =))
Seriously, he was so sweet and polite and was lovely to our dogs. We look forward to meeting again at the next South Wales walk :-bd

You mean Ioli and I aren't invited for Christmas lunch after all? :( I think a New Year walk would placate us :)
