AWOL

The Miniature Schnauzer is a smallest dog in the Schnauzer breed and originated in the mid-to-late 19th Century from Germany. The Miniature Schnauzer is a cross between the Standard Schnauzer and other smaller breeds such as the Poodle. A miniature Schnauzer is a spunky, but aloof dog who does things their own way. They tend to be good guard dogs without the tendency to bite.

AWOL

I've not been aboard for a week..my son ,33 yrs,has had a pneumothorax and undergone his second surgery(he had this happen before,ten yrs ago,same lung again)
He's doing fine,dogs are being angels with my hub but Robin howls for me even when he's with them.
Hope to be back on track in a couple of weeks.

Nice to have you back. Pleased your sons doing well.
I had to leave Barney with OH when we had several bereavements in a short space of time. First time he wouldn't eat for 4 days :( He's got better now but still doesn't like it when we make the turn into the airport when I go to UK to collect my Mum :))

He s out! Op went well..they used a different technique to fuse the lung space by spraying caustic talc containing magnesium silicate ,to cauterize the surfaces together...hurt like heck but should fuse the lung to the upper thoracic zone so it doesn't tear again..
Thanks to everyone who responded...really appreciated and helped me get through a very worrying time.
