Coco update

The Miniature Schnauzer is a smallest dog in the Schnauzer breed and originated in the mid-to-late 19th Century from Germany. The Miniature Schnauzer is a cross between the Standard Schnauzer and other smaller breeds such as the Poodle. A miniature Schnauzer is a spunky, but aloof dog who does things their own way. They tend to be good guard dogs without the tendency to bite.

Coco update

Post by Kazzi »

Coco has been with us 3.5wks although it feels like so much longer she’s just fit right into our family. Her socialisation is going really well & we’re taking her lots of different places. She’s learning to be more polite when meeting other dogs (although put her in puppy training hall & she lets them know who is Top Pup!!). She’s great meeting people & children of all ages. Today took her to a small funfair & she didn’t bat an eye - so proud of our little girl

Hi Karen,

It's great to hear about Coco's exploits. I think schnauzer pups are expected to be the loudest in the puppy training classes. Good to know she hasn't let the side down :)

She looks lovely in the pics and has grown considerably since we first saw her. How are things going at night with her?

:D she is definitely flying the schnauzer flag
She has grown a lot, loves her food so responds very well to treat based reward training. Shame it’s not yet following through when I don’t have a treat to hand! All in good time.
Nighttime she’s amazing. Only howled a couple of minutes first 3 nights now happily into bed with a treat & not a peep till morning. No messing in crate at all. It definitely helped her staying with her breeder & pack till 10wks. We’ve had a few accidents in the house, mainly our fault at being busy & not noticing her need but we’re really treating up outdoor toilet which is making a difference fast.
We’re loving her “crazy puppy” moments when she hates around to burn off whatever it is, & she’s a sweet little cuddler in the evening. Can you tell we’re all in love ;)
