Odd little pimple

Post by Schnauzer Sam »

I noticed this morning that Edie had a little lump just below her bottom lip. On closer inspection I could see a small black speck surrounded by pus - like you get if you have a splinter in your finger. The black speck was proud of the surface of the skin and I pulled it out with a pair of tweezers and then washed the spot with a little antiseptic. What I removed was about 25mm long and the thickness of a whisker. What it was or how it got there is a mystery. Any ideas?

That's possible - she does like to launch attacks on the outside brush :)
