Hello everyone!
Arizona is 10 weeks old mini schnauzer. Her dad is white/silver and her mom is black. I’m attaching few pictures of her.
We used to have a black and a white schnauzer so I am familiar with different variety of colors but we have never seen a schnauzer in this color before. She has beige/gold undertones with some black and white hair as well.
Has anyone had this color puppy before? we are very curious to see if her colors are going to change or will remain the same.
Thanks!!
Beige puppy

Re: Beige puppy
Hi Helios and Arizona - welcome to the Forum.
Most of the Forum members are in the UK although we do have a few members in the USA. Here in Britain and in Europe the only recognised colours for mini schnauzers are pepper & salt; black; black & silver and white so any other colouration is not often seen. With cross colour matings of any dogs it can be difficult to predict how the mature dog will turn out in terms of coat colour, and, with any schnauzer, coat colour can be affected by whether or not the coat is clipped or hand stripped.
It will be interesting for you to see how Arizona's coat develops over time. Enjoy her growing up - she looks very sweet

Re: Beige puppy
Hi Helios,
Welcome to the forum, what a stunning looking pup, please keep posting photos of her on the forum as Leigh says it will be interesting to see how her coat matures and if she stays as beige as she now is.

Re: Beige puppy
Hi and Welcome
Is the Dad a faded pepper and salt when you say white /silver? I know in US sometimes silver means a faded colour rather than true white. Just thinking there could be hidden colour genes in the Dad to give a different colour. Be interesting to see how she changes. What colour has she been registered as ?

Re: Beige puppy
What a beautiful looking puppy Arizona is - like Sue said, please keep posting pictures of her as she gets older as it would be lovely to see if her colour changes
