Jasper and Monty the brothers get together

Monty is over in Guernsey for few days so this afternoon we had a get together. They started off subdued for about 2 minutes.

Then they got to playing

Soon they were wet and covered head to toe in sand. Jasper's purple harness turned to sand coloured

We had a coffee and both boys behaved really well and had a little nap

We attempted to get a photo of them sitting together, but of course they just wanted to play again

This is the best we got, both eating the other ones treats

When we collected Jasper we had a cuddle of Monty he was bigger than Jasper then. Theyre around the same height we think (neither kept still) but Monty is stocky and Jasper is skinny mini. We did wonder what it would have been like if it had been the whole litter on the beach It was a lovely afternoon we're waiting for Monty coming on his holidays again

Alison - thank you for my Jasper fix, and of course the equally handsome Monty. They look as if they had so much fun, as I said before, I am so envious of you living in such an idyllic place, I must come over for a visit, with my girlies of course.

This is great, biggest regret I have is not getting Otto's sibling's owners details so that we could arrange puppy play dates and compare notes.

We're hoping to get details of other siblings. Monty is being trained as therapy dog to work in schools and is going to have some sort of official twitter/facebook page to chart his progress. I know the other owners will have access if they want it. Another of the pups has gone to a deaf person to be an assistant dog so it would be interesting to know how she's getting along too.

They look like little pocket dynamos with plenty of energy. Lovely photos.

Our Monty hasn't met any of his siblings yet but we do keep in touch over Whatsapp and share photos every now and then.

Can't imagine Otto as an assistance dog for the deaf. Would go something like,

Mum there's a dog passing, Mum there's a leaf, Mum there's a door closing, Mum there's a bird out there, Mum there's a squirrel, Mum there's an alarm going off, Mum there's a tiger on the TV, Mum there's a crisp bag blowing in the wind, Mum don't know what that was did you hear it? .... I think you get the picture.

Both our girls started last night just after getting home from a walk. Nothing held back, full volume! I couldn't see what was triggering their concern so I opened the door, waiting for them to rush off down the garden but instead they made a sharp turn to the right and suddenly I saw what was causing the barking. A big snail crawling up the wall
