castration
hello you hear so much advice on this subject but at what age is it best to do this to a giant.as i said before so much conflicting info out there.just want to make sure it is done at the right time for him.

If you are certain you want to have your giant schnauzer neutered, the usual recommendation is no earlier than 2 years old. The dog should be physically and mentally mature before considering the operation. An article in the Vet Times states:
“For heavier animals, it recommended waiting until the animal is at least 11 months old, and for males belonging to giant breeds it may be necessary to delay for a further year.”
