Tilda has reached the "Kevin" stage

Post by miniforme »

Tilda has started a new thing last week with her mum. When she wants something that Greta has she will sit on her until Greta gives in or stands up to get away from her and Tilda will take what ever Greta has.
Often there is a few chews sitting about, she only seems to want it when Greta has it. She has done if a few times this week, so i decided to take a picture, there is no aggression between them and most of the time Greta just ignores her and carries on chewing her chew with Tilda sitting on her.
Tho i gave Greta a pigs ear which she really enjoys the other night and i watched to see if Tilda would start this behaviour once she had finished hers but she didn't, i think she knew that there was no chance of her getting what she wanted this time.

What have you got there mum!

Ok that's not working lets try it this way.

She is doing it almost daily now, Greta was laying on the sofa this morning and she just got up and sat on her! its almost like its an attention thing.
Makes me wonder will she start to challenge her mum to be top dog!

Sounds like she is already (tuttut) (giggle)

If Mabel had gotten that near to Molly when she was younger and dared to attempt to sit on her Mabes would have been dog food (giggle)

i think hes resigned to it now, even little Charlie girl who i didnt mention has him wrapped round her little paws. Charlies hard to place at the moment, shes definitely below Ella and Molly but i think in time she will come next in the pecking order. Mabes and Mr Jaspies are just happy to clown around and enjoy life, dont want to have to worry about being in charge (cool2)

likewise with Dylan, early on he tried a few challenges to Layla, over food and playing / sitting on her, phisically he is stronger now but Layla gives him a serious kicking so now he knows and has given up wih any aspirations of a higher postion here.

When Monty my Dads dog stays Layla will let him lay on top of her and even take stuff off her but Dylan - no way.

Dylan and Monty find it hard to get along and I often wonder if it is cause Layla is above Dylan, but Monty is above Layla, but Monty is not above Dylan (in Dylan's mind) if this makes any sense whatsoever. Or they just don't like each other!

I bet Tilda is starting a ...what do you call it............a military cooo!

I laughed the first few times it happened, then yesterday i couldnt see Greta thinking where on earth has she gone, called her and she appeared from under Tilda on the sofa.
its becoming constant, she is acting like a total brat!
