I too am so sorry to read that Eddie lost his fight. You made the right decision, it is hard to believe and my heart goes out to you all. Words can't come close to expressing how sad I'm feeling having read your terrible news. Run free gorgeous boy.

Such shocking news for such a young dog, I am so sorry for your loss Graham. He sounded like such a wonderful boy and at least now he is free from pain, run free little man xxx

Still in shock at how quickly this all happened - we'd been following the initial thread - I missed the last comment from you about going to the vet and the first thing I said when I got indoors last night was that I needed to check the forum to see if there was any news on Eddie. When Grahame told me I was so upset for you all - our thought are with you and of course with Mouse - can't really put into words how we feel or even guess how you're feeling but please know that there's not a single person on this forum who isn't touched by your story of losing your special man at such a young age.
We're all thinking of you - dogs are wonderful animals, but Schnauzers, whatever their size, are a breed apart from all the rest....

Such sad news.
I wish you, Judi and Mouse strength and hope that you do not suffer long too, like Eddie. It is so hard when you loose anyone in your family, but when they feel as if they are taken away all too soon, it is a whole lot worse.
I hope the big guy is at peace now. This is a hardest and saddest part of dog ownership.
