Re: Schnauzerfest - Amazing
I can't see the Delamere one listed on the calendar which worried me a bit (it could just be me being dim and trying to do it quickly... i am at work!). Nevermind, we are going anyway so hope it is not too much of a disaster if we haven't registered!

Re: Schnauzerfest - Amazing
Last time I counted there were over 300 people registered for walk so I wonder how many dogs that will be
It would be great to get event photo's and possible a group shot - shame we aren't all Mike

Re: Schnauzerfest - Amazing
We are coming to Bradgate Park, complete with cup cakes for the humans.
Herbert will, no doubt, want to be right at the front as usual, leading the pack.
You won't miss him, he's a rather large mini with a tendency to go completely deaf when his staff, Grumpy & Pushover, attempt to curb his mischief.
After Dovedale, some of you may remember I did some photographs with captions. They seemed to go down rather well, so this time I'm trying to be a little more adventurous and do a short film.
So if you see a strange bloke in a red coat pointing an iPhone at you, please wave!
I'll put the film on Facebook and attempt to load it onto here if that's possible.
We look forward to a great walk, let's hope this rain clears up!

Re: Schnauzerfest - Amazing
I'll be going to Tayport and Donmouth - well I'd better
Judging by the smells coming off my two, some sea air for them would be a very good thing. Took half an hour this evening to get the crazy out of them till their ears worked again. And another half hour to get them to marginally sane.

On the calendar there's a walk listed on the 18th for the North West and North Wales.
Can anyone tell me where that walk is??
fingers crossed for good weather this weekend!! Either way, we'll be there... lovely weather will definitely be a lovely bonus though

Re: Schnauzerfest - Amazing
Hi everyone,
This will be our first schnauzer fest - we have no idea but to expect! We will be coming along to the Bradgate Park walk and are very excited!!
Bernie always seems to recognize that Schnauzers look like him and they are always his favorite dogs to greet when we are out and about! Usually they also get a big lick from him too! He is still quite young - about 6 months, so please excuse us if he is a little over excited to see everyone! I imagine he won't be the only very excited dog around!
Does anyone elses schnauzer seem to have a favorite breed to make friends with?
See some of your tomorrow!

Re: Schnauzerfest - Amazing
None of us have ever been to Schnauzerfest before It was a little idea that has grown and grown from a suggestion made by Beebee earlier in the year
There are now 21 walks across the country raising funds for the forum charity of the year, The Diana Brimblecombe Animal Rescue Centre, who do so much for all animals in need but have a special place in their hearts for Schnauzers that have come from horrible puppy farms. These special girls need so much help to rehabilitate them.
See you at Bradgate Park - I will be the one flogging Liver Cake ;)

My girls always love to meet other schnauzers, think it's common amongst breeds to recognise their own, I think in schnauzers, their vocal ways are understood by each other
Enjoy Bradgate, it's one of the biggest walks and it was the first to get off the ground so I'm really pleased to see it's so well attended
