I used to work in a showroom where the whole back wall was mirrored and made the mistake of taking my sister's Westie in. She could not believe that this other naughty dog followed her the whole length of the showroom and back

Aww. Its funny how some dogs see reflections and others don't. All my girls, Emily, Penny, Daisy, have only ever glanced and then walked away, presumably knowing its them and not another dog somehow. Or they have complete lack of interest in other dogs

When we got our new oven, Ollie kept staring at himself in the glass door! He had walked past a hall full length mirror countless times before that though. Perhaps that says more about the state of the old oven door! He does occasionally stop and look at himself in other reflective surfaces but not all the time!

At 17 months Ioli has just about got to grips with her reflection - she used to bark and grumble at the strange dog in the door, patio windows, and in the cooker and the fire - when she was a pup it was a nightmare.

What used to make me laugh (yes I know I was a cruel Mum) was when I lifted her up to see us both in the mirror - she just could not believe I would have the temerity to cwtch up to an interloper
