Winning Ways
For a bit of fun, we went along to a local village fete yesterday & took the boys. The boys were much admired and, despite their summer hair cuts, Duke took first prize for Most Handsome Dog. Not to be outdone, Alfie then got First in the veteran class (!) and the judge said she couldn't separate them in the Best Rescue Dog class, where they got joint third place. They spent the rest of the afternoon parading their rosettes
Horace, Bearded Collie X, rescued 1984, left us 1993, aged 15 approx
Eric, Bearded Collie, left us 2002, aged 15.5
Elsie (Vowchurch Belinda Black), Beardie, rescued 1988, left us 2000, aged 13.5
Monty, Patterdale Terrier X, rescued 2003, left us 2012, aged 12 approx

Must have been a favourable schnauzer weekend.
Minny entered a little agility course at our local Gala....and she was the fastest around the course so win a rosette as big as her and her first trophy....hoping this is the start of something for Minny !
